We are hiring

Our 7-piece Soul and Motown band Soul Junction is looking for a permanent guitarist to replace Tony Atkinson, who unfortunately has had to leave due to a hand injury.

Luckily Christian Sharpe has been able to cover our gigs to the end of the year, but as he is now playing with Redfish, we need a new guitarist from January 2022.

We play at festivals, pubs, parties, weddings and events, often in interesting locations. We rehearse once a week in Penrith and gig roughly twice a month, but it can increase during festival season and at Christmas. We share our income equally and manage all our own bookings. You won’t get rich but you will get a fair share and have some fun.

We’re setting aside rehearsal time in January and February to help you learn our current set.

We’re looking for someone who

enjoys playing Soul and Motown music

has own transport

is prepared to help in the band

preferably is not committed to another band

might even be a returner to the music scene.
