Taste of the Sea Festival

Maryport becomes a foody paradise each summer for the Taste of the Sea festival, with fishing boats selling their catch, gourmet food stalls, chef demos, craft ales and of course lots of music.

This year had its challenges with rather bracing high winds, but it all turned out brilliantly in the end, with loads of visitors to town. Some of us stayed over the weekend at the Marina, after playing our gig.

We were back in our favourite old stomping ground, Maryport Labour Club, belting out the songs that get everyone on the dance floor. And they definitely did dance.
