Anniversary gig Christmas party

Where had the last twelve months gone? Soul Junction had little time to reflect on that as they took the stage to celebrate their first anniversary. The room was at capacity as family, supporters and those coming to see SJ for the first time joined in the festive party atmosphere. Not wanting to disappoint, SJ played the familiar favourite numbers that the crowd always sing and dance to, and a number of new surprise songs to showcase the band. It's always good to have a Plan B!!

We knew it was going to be a great night when the dancers took to the floor after only the first three chords of our opening number had been played. It's a good job the venue had a large dance floor! There were some fantastic moves on display, none better than Bruce and Sophie, who won a much deserved dance prize for their Swing Dancing.

SJ were also joined on stage by Carolyn who added her own twist to 'Mustang Sally' and the mass choreography that accompanied 'Proud Mary' was stunning! It was a fantastic gig that SJ will remember for a long, long time - thanks to everyone who came to make it such a memorable night.
