Netherhall Oldboys Club 2018

We were back in Maryport on Saturday, visiting the Netherhall Oldboys pub for the first time, and what a welcome!  We always enjoy playing in West Cumbria because there’s a real interest in soul music, and the banter is excellent. Saturday was no exception.

The Oldboys is a super venue, perfect for music and dancing. We were particularly impressed by the friendly bar staff, who managed to combine efficient service of drinks with synchronised dance routines! And they make a cracking mug of tea!

We had some super dancers on the floor, and Jon was giving out SJ dance badges every few minutes. All in all, it was a great night out, and we’re looking forward to returning to Maryport in the future. You can’t beat a West Cumbrian night out!
