Party in the Park - Culgaith

A five hundred sell out crowd packed Culgaith Recreation Ground for a mini music festival - Party in the Park. Soul Junction had been invited to close the event by playing the last two sets.

Everything about this event was great - the dancing and singing was non-stop, meeting old friends and making new ones and the atmosphere was infectious. The weather was kind and all this made for a memorable seven hours of music.

Playing outside has a special kind of magic and the audience sensed that too with their rapturous backing singing to our songs - a favourite being 'Red Light Spells Danger'. The sight of numerous glow sticks waving in unison through the darkness was unforgettable. Who needed to be at Glastonbury?
