Soul Junction's 10th Birthday Party, Penrith

We celebrate our 10th birthday this year and you are invited to the party!

It’s a classic 7-piece soul lineup with Cumbrian soul diva Lisa Carr singing lead vocals. The band plays all the best songs for dancing and is a favourite at festivals, clubs, theatres, pubs and private parties throughout the north of England and across the border, including regular appearances at Solfest, Dumfries Big Burns, Maryport Blues, Mains Farm, Drybeck, Tan Hill, The Witham, Old Fire Station, Source Collective and Kanteena among many others.

The music is arranged by the band and covers the soul greats, from Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin and Wilson Pickett to Tina Turner and Amy Winehouse, in our own unique SJ style, flavoured with a pinch of Cumbrian banter.
