Cumbria Horse Trials 'Mane Event' Ball 2017

Soul Junction made our first visit to The Halston, Carlisle in October, to perform at the Cumbria Horse Trials 'Mane Event' Ball. 

​

Around one hundred and sixty guests enjoyed dinner and congratulated award winners before Soul Junction took to the stage to party on through the night.

The first notes of ‘Midnight Hour’ filled the floor with dancers eager to immerse themselves in the best of soul music.... two and a half hours later they were still rocking!

​

The Halston is a magical venue for a ball, with a large white dance floor, and a gorgeous Nordic theme with a silver birch wall and sparkling lights, not to forget a red carpet entrance for champagne receptions.

​

Not only was the dance floor packed, but there were some amazing backing singers in the audience - 'Proud Mary’ was a favourite. (What is it about that song that brings out the wild side of any audience?) We also enjoyed a guest singer on stage who stole the limelight in ‘Mustang Sally’ –  it sounded great!

Soul Junction thoroughly enjoyed the evening and it was a delight to play to such an appreciative audience.
