Langwathby May Day After Party

​

The very first Langwathby May Day After Party provided a fantastic end to the village festivities. All the tickets were sold out prior to the event as everyone wanted to be there for a memorable night of soul music.

 

From the opening chords of 'Midnight Hour',  the floor filled with people who then danced and danced until the final curtain. Not only could they dance, they knew all the lyrics and they sang along loudly  with the band in perfect harmony.  At the end of the evening, as the strains of 'Proud Mary' started to fade,  it was hard for Soul Junction to leave the stage such was appreciative clapping, cheering and foot stomping.
