NYE Ex-Service Men's Club, Carlisle

The ‘Exes’ dance floor was a busy place on New Year’s Eve, from the first bars of SJ’s ‘Twistin’ the Night Away’ to the last few chords of ‘Hold on I’m coming’.

Soul Junction members enjoyed a drink at the Howard Arms before their set and had fun entertaining the packed ‘Exes’ through into the small hours, leading a massive Auld Lang Syne before bursting into the New Year with a cheeky splat of 50’s Tartan Soul - in the shape of the nutty ‘Hoots Mon’.

Thank you to the fab Northern Soul fan from Maryport, who had travelled specially to see us and took possession of the dance floor, and for all the kind words from club members at the end of the evening.
