Green Dragon, Hardraw

It’s no surprise that the Green Dragon and Hardraw village have featured as scenic backdrops in All Creatures Great and Small and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves - both are beautiful. It was good to be invited to play at the Green Dragon, the cute little sister of the Tan Hill Inn. The pub is very old, with stone flagged floors, cast iron ranges and wood fires, but the rear room has been converted into a funky music space with cosy booths, stage and lighting and a cool bar area.

It was a pleasure to play for the first time in Hardraw. We had a local guest trumpeter - Richard - who played a great set. Thank you to all at the Green Dragon for looking after us so well.
