Penrith Stars of Business Awards

Roundthorn Hotel, Penrith sparkled more than a Christmas movie for the Penrith Stars of Business Awards Evening, hosted by the Penrith Chamber of Trade and Commerce.

We had the full works, with red carpet, a starry ceiling, candelabra, and glitter galore, glamorous guests and a smartly be-kilted mayor!

It was lovely to see so many Penrith businesses getting recognition for their excellent work, particularly after a difficult few years for everyone. Well done everybody!

We were also delighted to see the Unsung hero award going to Tony Pears for his amazing work over the years voluntarily picking up other people’s litter and keeping our town smart. He’s a real star and deserves our thanks.

After the ceremony ties were loosened, and the glittering guests took to the dance floor. We had a fabulous evening!
