Stainton Village Hall - Grand Opening 2019

Great excitement! We were invited to play at the opening weekend of the brand new Stainton Village Hall and Soul Junction was the very first band to perform in the lovely new building. It is a really attractive venue, with a natural stone entrance and muted colours, facing the King’s Arms pub, right in the heart of the village. The hall itself has a gorgeous sprung oak dance floor, and windows looking out over the countryside.

The party was sold out well before the event, and it was great to see so many people coming together to celebrate the opening of this superb community resource.

The giant Stainton conga to our newest number ‘Love Train’, which could easily have ended up at Pooley Bridge if we hadn’t stopped playing..

It’s my party! (And yes, Stainton, it was!). I only want to be with you!

Fire and Dough pizzas and banter at midnight, yum..
