Friends of Soul Junction will be sad to hear of the death of our much loved bass player Bill Turner. Bill was with Soul Junction from the start, and his ideas contributed greatly to the unique sound of the band, leaving only this year, when his illness made it too difficult to continue performing. Bill was a brilliant musician, a good friend, and a supportive band member. Bill’s lovely sense of humour kept us all entertained. We‘ll remember that soulful voice, the Plan B rap, the great bass riffs, the t-shirts, the jokes, and the fun.
It was impossible to be entirely serious in Bill‘s company.
